The kayak fishing story so far

I got interested in kayaking again in early 2007, and after joining North Wales Kayak Fishing for a local meet on the island at Penmon point in a demo model of the new malibu I was hooked! I borrowed another small ocean kayak to try fishing off the kayak, and the rest is history!

Here is a pictorial highlight history of my kayak fishing in 2007 and 2008, during which time i have made lots of new friends and learnt a lot about both sea kayaking on SOT (sit on top) kayaks and fishing off them:

Welcome to my fishing diary

Welcome to my fishing diary blog!

Having contributed regular shore and kayak sea fishing reports, and articles about kayak fishing on various sea fishing and kayak fishing websites over the last two years I thought it would be a nice idea to create a blog for my 2009 fishing activities (shore, boat and kayak fishing). This way, all of my fishing reports will be together in one place for me to review at the end of the new year. I will continue to post reports on the various fishing forum sites, but will put a bit more detail onto my blog.

About Me

My photo
Ynys Mon / Island of Anglesey, Wales, United Kingdom
I am a forty something child of the 60s/70s who has returned to one of my main childhood hobbies (sea fishing)as part of my mid life crisis. Having shore fished around Holyhead, Anglesey from late 60s to late 70s I have recently (three years ago) re discovered sea angling and (more recently) sea kayaking, and now once again take full advantage of the beautiful Isle of Anglesey coastline and inshore waters.
